You can be who you wanna be, even yourself.

There are varieties of people in this ravishing world of ours, and by saying variety I am not referring to the religion and caste system adopted by our society to differentiate between two individuals, by mentioning variety I mean the disparateness in views which differentiate among two individuals. I personally believe we are now living in a society populated with motivated young minds who dream to be like someone (which may be their respective mentors or probably the ones who inspired them). The problem here is that these young people want to be like someone, but not themselves. I believe losing our originality is the biggest cataclysm self can experience, since being someone might please you, but in reality it is helping your true ego to evanesce. It is basically wiping the true you off the face of earth.

I also believe that we should not be inspired by someone. I know it sounds real absurd but the logic behind my view is that by being inspired from someone, we somewhere set a limit unknowingly, we try our level best to be that very person and we might even land somewhere close to him and die feeling satisfied. If we could have just amoured the idea or concept of someone, and tried to figure out ways in which we could make it work in our own way without losing our true identity during the process, then there is a certain chance that we might even be far more successful than the person who we could have worked hard to be. A person can either over estimate himself or underestimate his true ego in the process of being someone else, however both the process would lead to the same result that is failure (which is quite obvious).

I guess we should respect what other people do, amour their ideas and if the idea hits us, we must try our level best to make it work in our own style. For me, inspiration only puts limit to growth and losing of one’s true identity. I also accept the saying that there should be no boundaries to human endeavor.
